And you had to know someone who had a hard copy in order to make a copy…no texting, emailing or posting back then just pure xerox or fax machine struggle…“Don’t forget to plug the phone back in!”

Take two steps forward if you remember the cabbage soup diet. Yes, the one where you made a large pot of cabbage soup and slurped it down for days with no other solid foods. Misery…break my legs instead.

If you stepped forward even once you’ve lived through the era of shame and quick fixes. But here’s what I know to be true: real wellness doesn’t come in fads. It comes from showing up for yourself day after day in the wholeness of mind, body and spirit.

Twenty-five years ago, I wanted to feel alive in my body. I had an overwhelming and pressing need to feel better in my skin and ultimately came to the realization there was only one path: consistent exercise and healthy nutrition. Later, I would learn meditation and mindfulness would play a key role as well. But as the journey unfolded I took it step by step. Back then there were no wellness influencers or endless TikTok tips, just trial and error…and Fitness and Shape magazines (shout out to the real OGs). And the more I learned and implemented into my daily life the more I felt vibrant, strong, and clear.

But life moves in waves, and along the way I lost my rhythm. The past two years have challenged my discipline and I’ve gained over 30 pounds. I stopped listening to myself and I let stress take the wheel. But here’s the truth: the body remembers and so does the spirit.

Ambrosia 5.0 is a return to wellness and permission for reinvention. And this time I’m not guessing. I’m moving with intention and armed with the knowledge I’ve gathered over decades of experience with whole foods, herbs, rituals, and practices that nourish not just the body but the whole self.

This is not about perfection. This is not about quick fixes. This is about remembering who we are when we feel our best; grounded, clear, and connected. Whether you’re just starting out or coming back home to yourself as I am (or want to get back into all the clothes you love! much more of that to come) I invite you to walk this path with me.

Here, I’ll share everything I’ve learned from my favorite herbal teas and simple seasonal meals to ways to bring more mindfulness into your day without overcomplicating your life. No fluff. No pressure. Just real tools and honest reflections to support you wherever you are. And of course, we’ll get into the fun of feeling and looking great! What to wear, what seasons to splurge and indulge, and how to part with pieces that no longer bring joy.
